Vintage Inspired Savannah Georgia engagement

Molly + Jack

There’s nothing that screams vintage and old-time quite like charming Downtown Savannah, and when Molly reached out to me about her vision for her engagement session, I knew this is where it’d have to take place. Our time together started out in Chatham Square, one of my favorite squares in the city. Jack pulled up in a showstopping vintage gold Chevy Impala and I already knew we were going to have lots of fun.

Molly and Jack are getting married out in California but wanted something a little closer to home for their engagement session so we wanted to definitely incorporate Savannah’s mossy oaks, cobblestone streets and historic architecture into their vintage-inspired engagement session. Molly wore the cutest champagne mini dress and an embroidered short veil that added the sweetest touch. Her “something blue” was not only stitched into her veil but also came across in her gorgeous hydrangea bouquet. The two split a bottle of bubbles to celebrate this new chapter and used some family heirloom crystal champagne flutes. All the details and personal touches in this session just made my heart so giddy. It’s my favorite thing to see how my couples infuse their personality and history into their time in front of the camera.

We had an absolute blast running around Historic Savannah for the rest of their engagement photos, stopping along some of my go-to locations including Drayton Street for a little modern touch. We ended our time together overlooking the city and capturing some rooftop engagement pics before the two drove off into the night! It was so much fun getting to help Molly bring her vision to life for her and Jack’s engagement pics. Collaboration is my jam so if you have a vision you want to bring to life - let’s dream together!
