intimate beach elopement on tybee island

Tybee Island, Georgia

Delane + Cameron

I first met Delane and Cameron at a wedding where we were both working. They are the powerhouse duo behind Wiggins Film Co. - a local wedding videography company here in Savannah. They were some of the most fun vendors I ever worked with and we clicked instantly. While we were working together at a wedding in Savannah, I got to know them and a little more about their love story! All these ideas were tossed around about how these two would eventually tie the knot and it was so fun dreaming with them over our vendor meals.

It goes without saying that when I received a message from Delane letting me know their plans and asking me to photograph their intimate elopement here on Tybee Island I was beyond excited for them and, selfishly, myself. I already knew that their night would be so special and so THEM.

I couldn't help but admire Delane and Cameron's decision to break away from the status quo. They opted for a ceremony that was all about them and their love, and it was such a good reminder that there is so much beauty in simplicity.

I arrived at a quiet spot on North Beach, Delane and Cameron’s first date spot to be exact. There was a triangle arch, gorgeous white flowers, and Cameron. Setting up all the details with the help of a friend. Their officiant arrived, Cameron put on his tie and suspenders and we patiently waited on Delane’s arrival. Their ceremony was short and sweet but their vows had me tearing up behind my camera. It was so clear how excited these two were to finally be married!

One of my favorite parts of their day was their wedding cake that had “Married AF” written on it. I’m kinda wishing I had one like that at my own wedding not going to lie. After cutting the cake, we took some time to play around the beach and capture their portraits. We had so much fun spinning and dancing along the shoreline - so many smiles and laughs but also so really sweet intimate and sexy moments between these two. Like their chemistry is off the charts. You could just feel how special it was for them to get married in the exact spot they had their first date years ago.

Here's to The Wiggins and their love for one another, their love for Tybee Island, and their willingness to do their wedding their way!
