A Cozy fall Engagement session at the botanical gardens

As we start making our way into fall months again, I couldn’t think of a better time to share Brooke and Max’s cozy engagement session in Athens, Georgia. What started as cozy vibes, ended in a fun editorial city-style shoot and you can already guess that my heart was so happy. It’s always SO fun to capture my couples in different lights!

We began this session at the UGA Botanical Gardens where the vibrant fall foliage served as the best background for our cozy and playful shots. Everything about this session screamed Fall. The outfits, the mums, and the colors of the trees changing in the background - it was all just so good! Brooke and Max went on multiple dates at the Botanicals so it only made sense to incorporate it into their engagement pics. (NOTE FOR BRIDES TO BE: When thinking of locations for your engagement shoot - don’t shy away from locations that have true meaning to you and your partner!)

The golden rays of the setting sun bathed the couple in a soft, warm glow as we moved to the streets of Downtown Athens where we took a little bit of a different approach to their engagement photos. Brooke rocked the most stunning white mini dress and Max dawned a fun blazer and slacks - making these pics a little more formal and elevated. We chased the sun and ended the evening with some fun flash engagement photos as they popped a bottle of bubbly to celebrate their engagement!

Brooke and Max are the type of people you dream of working with - chill, bubbly and nothin but a good time! I can’t wait to hang with them for their wedding in North Georgia so soon! For now, let’s raise a toast to The Future Marquardts!
