As a Georgia wedding photographer, I live for the moments when a couple trusts me enough to pack my bags and follow their love story somewhere extraordinary, and New York City is about as extraordinary as it gets. Something about the energy of this city recharges my creative spirit in ways I can't quite put into words. It's electric. It's alive. And when spring settles over Manhattan, there is truly nowhere else on earth I'd rather be.

We made our way through the vibrant, bustling streets of the city, wove through the grandeur of Rockefeller Center, and made our way to the observation deck. From the moment we arrived, the photos practically took themselves. The views, along with how absolutely stunning Eric and Elisa were, made this NYC elopement move seamlessly from beginning to end.

Erica + Elisa's love is simply palpable. The effortless, instinctive way these two move together, in sync, unhurried, completely tuned in to one another, is the kind of connection that makes a photographer's job feel less like work and more like witnessing something sacred. Elisa wore a gorgeous, flowing white gown that danced in the wind against the open sky, and yes, we leaned all the way into the movement. We love the drama of it all. Eric complemented her beautifully in a sharp black-and-white suit that let the simplicity of her gown shine. The entire New York elopement was intentionally stripped back and beautifully minimal, showcasing just one of the many beauties of couples choosing the experience of their wedding day over anything else.
