Elegant Modern Wedding Day at Primrose Cottage

The Faulkners wedding day was straight out of a storybook. From the intricate details to the infectious love between Peter + Sierra, there are so many elements of this spring wedding in Atlanta that I can’t keep out of my head. Every single ounce of this day just felt like a warm hug and fresh air.
Our day started at a cozy Airbnb where Sierra and her best gals were getting ready! The bridesmaids wore the most adorable black silk pajamas and of course our soon-to-be bride rocked a similar set in bridal white. The tunes were playing, the mimosas were flowing and the energy was just right. I had tons of fun working with Sierra’s details and this flatlay turned out to be my favorite of all time. Before heading to the Cathedral of Christ the King, we had a private moment with Sierra + her mom getting ready. These dress zip-ups get me every single time!

Once we made it to the cathedral, I got to meet up with Peter + his groomsmen who also brought the energy. They were oh so dapper in their black and white tuxedos with ivory boutonnieres to match. Right before their ceremony, Sierra shared another special moment, but this time with her father and there wasn’t a dry eye on the church grounds. Their ceremony was situated right inside the gorgeous cathedral where the architecture alone was something to gawk over but pair that with Sierra’s gorgeous train and veil - talk about WOW.

After their ceremony, Sierra + Peter and their full bridal party celebrated their union on the front steps of the cathedral and I could tell just how much fun we were going to have at their reception! This group was just electric. The Faulkners had their reception at what might be one of my favorite spots in ATL, Primrose Cottage. It’s quaint and charming but also has this elevated feeling to it that I truly can’t put into words. The rest of the night was spent showering these two with all the love and celebrating with them amongst their friends and families. The entire wedding day was so beautiful and you could just feel the love from every single person that was there to celebrate S + P - which made it such a JOY to capture. A huge thank you to Sierra + Peter for allowing me to share this precious day with them. It’s one I will truly never ever forget! Here’s to The Faulkners!
